■ASHFORD United returned to the league programme for the first time since the beginning of September and paid the price for missed chances in the first half.
Lockyer, Jonah and Dunne all missed opportunities to score before Ashford were awarded a penalty when Lockyer was pulled down by visitors keeper William Eastwood.
Lockyer himself took the penalty which he saw crash against the right-hand post and rebound to safety.
