■RAMSGATE made a real statement of intent by thrashing Sheppey United. Both teams went into the game with 100-percent records in the league, but the Rams cruised to victory. Goal machine Joe Taylor gave the hosts the lead after 19 minutes, tap-ping home after Benny Bioletti’s shot was blocked.
Raptor Deacon hit the bar moments later before Bioletti doubled the lead with a close range header after TJ Jadama beat Sheppey keeper Aidan Prall to a Deacon free kick.
