IT was another game and another defeat for Phoenix Sports, but their new-look team showed signs of promise, despite a loss to Herne Bay.
The visitors took the lead in the 26th minute on the counter. Scott Heard crossing and Kane Haysman finishing.
Soon after, Bay were 2-0 up. Keeper Harry Brooks played a long pass over the top of the Phoenix defence to Ethan Smith, who rounded Taite Holtam and scored.
