ASHFORD United secured back-to-back wins with a victory at Eastbourne Town.
United enjoyed a perfect start at the Saffrons with Louis Collins putting his side ahead after just two minutes.
Having been caught napping at the start, Eastbourne’s response was led by James Stone. The forward created a couple of half-chances before levelling the scores four minutes before half-time.
Chris Winterton looked sharp between the sticks for the hosts, including a fine save late in the first half to deny Ashford a half-time lead.
