LITTLEHAMPTON were agonisingly close to backing up their 4-0 win over Phoenix Sports, but had to settle for a point with AFC Croydon.
Home caretaker manager Michael Kamara named himself in the starting line up after another injury left the team short at the back.
He guided the defence well in the opening period as neither side were able to fashion a chance sufficient to test either goalkeeper.
