HORNDEAN returned to winning ways thanks to a second-half strike from skipper Tommy Scutt.
The hosts had a golden chance to take the lead inside the first ten minutes when a free-kick was taken quickly to find Willett unmarked inside the box, but he couldn’t guide his effort into the net.
Both sides showed minimal threat in front of goal, as the interval arrived with the scoreline goalless.
