RYAN Salter gained victory in his first game in charge of Brightlingsea Regent, as they came back from a goal down to beat Sporting Bengal and move to just outside the playoff places.
Goalkeeper George Marsh was unlucky turning the ball into his own net to give visiting Bengal the lead after 13 minutes.
But the hosts gained momentum in the half and eventually scored a deserved equaliser.
It came via the foot of former Swindon Town and Ipswich Town academy prospect Fin Adams just before the break.
