ASHFORD ran out n comfortable winners in their Kent derby clash with ten-man Herne Bay.
The drama began in the tenth minute when the visitors’ goalkeeper Josh Bexon was adjudged to have handled the ball outside the area.
Ashford applied their advantage but the Herne Bay defence was firm until in the 35th minute Gary Lockyer headed in from a corner.
Ashford continued their pressure in the second half and doubled their lead in the 50th minute. Gabe Campbell scored, again from a corner.
