AFC HORNCHURCH returned to the Premier Division after an absence of three seasons and made their mark with a convincing three-goal win.
The visitors rarely offered a threat apart from a good shot from Shaun Okojie and Daniel Gallagher, whilst Callum Chaser twice punched clear from Elliot Benyon.
Most of the action, however, took place at the other end where Leatherhead survived three excellent crosses by George Saunders, while Tanners playermanager Nikki Bull saved well from George Purcell.
