JAKE Cass marked his debut with a late goal to gave wasteful Bishop’s Stortford a point from a disappointing contest.
Stortford won a penalty in the 14th minute, Chi Osadebe being brought down just inside the box by Leatherhead keeper Craig Ross.
Osadebe took the spotkick but Ross saved, diving to his right.
The Tanners’ Jerry Nnamani was close with a header from a corner, Yet Stortford should have led at the interval.
Cass shot wide and Osadebe shot weakly when sent through on goal.
