AFC HORNCHURCH certainly didn’t suffer away-day blues after a comfortable victory at Burgess Hill Town with goals from three different scorers across the two halves.
Both sides started well, with the first chance falling to George Purcell on 15 minute but his effort was comfortably saved by Josh James.
Ben Pope and Lewis Spence both had chances to test the respective keepers but both efforts were dealt with.
The Urchins took the lead on the half-hour mark through Nathan Cooper’s lovely turn and finish.
