PLAYER-BOSS Jamie Cureton struck his first hat-trick for Bishop’s Stortford as the hosts, apart from the opening and closing minutes, were fully in charge.
The 43-year-old’s third goal was his 350th of his long club career.
The Blues started slowly, with keeper Calum Kitscha parrying away a shot from the Hawks’ Connor Tighe in the eighth minute. But four minutes later, Stortford went ahead as Cureton collected Jack Thomas’ ball and lifted it over Melvin Minter.
