AFC HORNCHURCH put a spoke in Dorking’s title-chasing wheel with a late equaliser in Essex. Both sides needed the points for different reasons and the Wand sstarted the stronger.
On two minutes, Jason Prior rose highest at the far post, but his header landed on the bar before Kenzer Lee cleared.
Wands keeper Slavomir Huk turned a George Purcell effort away before Jerome Beckles was first to react following an excellent George Saunders cross. Ronnie Winn went close for the hosts and Huk again saved well from Purcell.
