DORKING missed the chance to close the gap at the top of the league after being held by a determined Whitehawk side in a physical game on the South Coast.
The visitors could have taken the lead after just 50 seconds as poor defending by the Hawks allowed Reece Hall into the box, with his attempt clattering the post.
Dorking continued to try and break through but were unable to break down a brave defensive performance by the home side.
