BRIGHTLINGSEA Regent took the spoils in a compelling match to down Kingstonian.
Both sides started in bright fashion, treating the crowd to plenty of action in an intriguing contest early on.
R’s had the first real chance when a long Josh Gould throw forced a goalmouth scramble which saw a series of saves and blocks, eventually coming to nothing.
But the game changed in the 19th minute. Kingstonian were awarded a penalty when a cross hit the hand of Matt Cripps.
