LEWES went ahead in the first half and never looked like losing from that point forward in this contest.
The home side eased into the lead in the 18th minute, Charlie Coppola reacting quickly to a loose ball after K’s keeper Rob Tolfrey had come out quickly to block his initial effort on the edge of the area.
Nine minutes later, the lead doubled with Ben Pope’s penalty, after Coppola’s darting run was brought to an end by Delano Sam-Yorke’s untidy challenge in the box.
