LEATHERHEAD edged this scrappy affair between two sides on the edge of the play-off race.
Both keepers were busied in a lively first quarter before the Tanners netted the only goal of the game on 23 minutes when Ibrahim Olutade latched onto a near-post free-kick and directed his header past Town keeper Matt Nolan.
Enfield nearly levelled when Matt Johnson slammed his shot wide from Sam Chaney’s great cutback. Then Tanners keeper Zaki Oualah tipped Sam Hatton’s shot round the post.
