WALTER Figueira put in a star man performance as Merstham claimed the final play-off spot with a win over ten-man Worthing.
The visitors all but sealed fifth place within the first five minutes as they raced into a three goal lead.
The floodgates opened when Lucas Covolan’s sloppy pass fell to former Worthing midfielder Kershaney Samuels, who lobbed into a gaping net within 90 seconds of the start.
