ISTHMIAN Premier new boys Bowers & Pitsea continued their impressive start to their first season at this level with a comfortable win against out-of-form Lewes.
It was a game of few chances, with both teams wasteful in their passing and possession.
The home side had the first chance on ten minutes when James Hammond’s free-kick evaded everyone but flew just wide.
The visitors had their best chance in the 31st minute when Bradley Warner’s speculative effort from distance had Nathan Stroomberg beaten but also the post.
