ENFIELD Town recovered from conceding an early goal to take all three points back to north London from leafy Surrey suburbia. Leatherhead applied the early pressure, winning three corners within the first ten minutes.
And from the third of these, a well-worked short corner move, Tanners captain Will Salmon latched on to a chip into the box and powered his header home from close range. Enfield’s striker Muhammadu Faal certainly had the legs on the Leatherhead back four but Town failed to capitalise on a number of chances.
