MARGATE snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in a game which Cheshunt could have put to bed and became a tale of two penalties. Cheshunt dominated the first half with Toyosi’s pace forcing Gate’s defence into a clear at all cost policy.
He hit the side netting when a square pass was the better option, but redeemed himself to win a penalty with the same move.
Alas Joe Re’s weak spot-kick was saved to his right by Gate keeper Joe Tupper.
Margate’s Elliott Reeves looked dangerous but his colleagues were not on his wavelength.
