FRANKIE MERRIFIELD netted a brace as East Thurrock United came from behind to snatch a win.
The hosts made a nervy start but Roco Rees was on hand to thwart Merrifield in the opening minute before making an excellent save to fist away Ben Marlow’s drilled effort.
Worthing took the lead in spectacular fashion when Reece Myles-Meekums cut on to his right foot and curled into the top corner from the edge of the box on 14 minutes.
