MICKLEOVER Sports have been hit with a hammer blow after being forced to postpone the building of a new 3G pitch due to the coronavirus crisis.
The BetVictor Northern Premier Division club say they are “disappointed” to delay the plans for the 1,500-capacity Don Amott Arena sports ground, which were due to be completed in July in time for the 2020-21 season.
It was decided that plans would be shelved owing to the health and safety of those involved in the construction of the pitch.
