THREE second-half strikes saw Carshalton open the season with a comfortable looking three-goal margin.
It was a great start for Peter Adeniyi’s side who were going well last season as they chased promotion before the coronavirus outbreak that halted the season it is tracks.
Despite the blustery conditions, an entertaining first half remained goalless.
The best of the first half action saw Charlie Ruff free Ben Ward-Cochrane, who found Ken Charles in space, but his shot was well blocked by a defender.
