Whitehawk appoint

Ross McNeilly has been appointed new manager of Pitching In Isthmian League Premier side Whitehawk.

The 40-year-old was formerly a youth coach with Sunderland and Woking before a five year stay at Aldershot Town. He managed their under 21s and had a spell as interim manager for the second half of the 2022/23 season.

He spent last term as assistant manager to Marc White at National League Dorking Wanderers.

McNeilly succeeds Shaun Saunders, who resigned last week after just over two years in charge.

The newly appointed manager told the club’s official website:

“I am excited to step into the role of manager. Thank you to Whitehawk FC for providing me an opportunity to achieve the success and progression that this club deserves.

“I will work hard to build a team that the supporters and community can be proud of. A team that will embody character, energy and a strong work ethic that the fans can be proud of.”
