Callum Jones joins Dartford

Callum Jones has become the third former Chelmsford City player to sign for Dartford this summer.

Jones joins Jacob Marsden and Samir Carruthers in making the switch from Essex to Kent. He made 79 appearances for Chelmsford, scoring 22 goals. The forward arrived at the Clarets from Colchester in April 2021 but missed most of his first season at the Melbourne Community Stadium through injury, before becoming a regular in 2022/23.

He spent a period on loan at Billericay Town last season before returning for the latter stages of the campaign which ended in play-off disappointment.

Jones is the fourth player to sign for Pitching In Isthmian Premier Division Dartford this month, who have also appointed Roland Edge as assistant manager.
