Evo-Stik North side Tadcaster Albion have re-signed attacking midfielder Adam Baker.
The exciting winger notched 19 goals for Taddy during their triumphant Northern Counties East League title-winning season, but left the club in February after failing to hold down a regular starting spot.
However, after spells at the likes of Brighouse Town and Hyde United, Baker is back with Michael Morton’s men and the boss is delighted to have him back.
Speaking to the club’s website, Mortan said: “It’s great to see Adam back in a Tadcaster Albion shirt.
“His goal scoring ability married up with his great pace will bring something different to our forward line.”
As well as his 19 goals for Tadcaster during the 2015-16 season, Baker recorded an impressive 11 assists and scored the goal that effectively secured promotion to the Evo-Stik North – against Armthorpe Welfare.
The winger is happy to be back at the i2i Stadium, telling the club’s website: “I am delighted to be re-joining Tadcaster.
I have a good history with the club and still have a lot of love for them.
Tadcaster is going in the right direction and deserves every success. The club is run the right way from the board all the way to the supporters that travel the country to watch.
“I am looking forward to playing again and hopefully helping the team reach the goals we want to achieve.”
