Hull Live are today reporting that proposals by North Ferriby owner Carl Chadwick to re-name the club have been rejected by the FA.
It is now believed that Chadwick will look to sell The Villagers, who are currently sitting at the bottom of the Northern Premier League, and seemingly certain to face a third straight relegation.
Chadwick’s proposals, which involved re-naming the club East Hull FC and moving them to a site on Dunswell Park, sparked a fierce reaction from the club’s fans with a passionate campaign created.
Chadwick took over the club from unpopular former owner Jamie Waltham over the summer but caused outrage when he reprised Waltham’s plans to re-locate the club.
