BUXTON stayed in the hunt for a play-off place with a five star second-half show at strugglers Skelmersdale.
The Bucks took the lead just before the interval, before the game turned on the 47th minute dismissal of Skelmersdale’s Michael Vaughan-Muscat, within seven minutes it was 3-0 and by the 65th minute it was 5-0 as a rampant Buxton just swept the hapless hosts aside.
The initial 40 minutes were scrappy with neither team managing to get any kind of momentum going.
