■WHITBY recovered from losing star striker John Campbell in the second minute as replacement Anthony Hume netted twice.
The Blues’ third successive victory over the Merseysiders seemed a long way off when Campbell went over on his ankle early on, but substitute Hume nodded into the bottomright corner, with his first touch, from his right-wing corner.
