WHAT a difference a week makes. Seven days earlier Witton Albion’s losing run had been extended to five matches by a narrow loss at Hednesford.
They have won twice since, and were rewarded for a scintillating opening half-hour that left Coalville playing catch-up.
Tom Owens nudged Rob Hopley’s cross into the net from close range in the third minute, a trick repeated by James Foley to double the lead when he jabbed Prince Haywood’s driven assist over the line.
Lee Cox then halved the arrears with a spectacular rising shot after Creaney teed him up.
