STALYBRIDGE were denied their third win in a row as visitors Hednesford grabbed a dramatic equaliser deep into stoppage time.
In a fairly even first half, Town’s James Wren had been the busier, making saves from Connor Hughes and Jake Charles, which at the other end James Lawrie had gone close with a rising drive.
They took the lead on 37 minutes when Tom Thorley’s astute through ball freed James Fitzgibbon and his angled drive flashed across Walton and into the far corner.
