ASHTON ran out comfortable victors with three first-half goals and a second-half penalty.
The scoring started as early as the third minute as John Pritchard’s pass found the overlapping Lewis Baines and his deep cross was headed home by Deane Smalley.
Four minutes later and Baines headed home the second from Liam Tomsett’s corner with the aid of a slight deflection.
