SHAW LANE kept their playoff hopes alive with an ugly win at Stafford.
Stafford had Riley Stephenson making his first start in goal and he was soon in action when a poor defensive header from Kieren Westwood led to him fouling Kieran Lugsden.
Damian Reeves dispatched the penalty to give Shaw Lane the lead in the 6th minute. Lane came close to a second when Kelvin Lugsden’s header flew across the face of goal.
