■LEWIS Maloney missed a late penalty and the chance to fire Whitby to a 13th league win of the season. Instead, the sides fought out a low-key draw in a clash that had a real end of season feel, by the seaside.
In a very quiet first half, it was the Derbyshire visitors from Buxton who shaded it with Jack Norton denying Liam Hardy from point-blank range, at the near post, from an acute angle.
Late in the first period, Hardy was again blocked by the Blues stopper, this time one-on-one just inside the penalty area, despite time to pick his spot.
