MORPETH Town boss Nick Gray believes the club have learnt lessons from missing out on the Ebac Northern League Division One title last season.
The Highwaymen looked set to claim a first ever Northern League title for the majority of the season having topped the table for the majority of the campaign going into the final month.
A 4-1 defeat at Marske United in late March, however, proved the turning point of the season and the Seasiders used that win as a platform to overhaul Gray’s side and clinch a second title in four years.
