JAMIE CURETON’S stoppage-time equaliser broke Burgess Hill hearts as he denied the Sussex strugglers their first win of the season.
Veteran Cureton hit the inside of an upright with a great shot in the 12th minute as Stortford had the early upper hand.
But the visitors led on 26 minutes, when Ben Pope squared the ball for Pat Harding and he placed his shot past onloan Blues keeper Patrick Ohman.
Two minutes before the break the visitors’ Dan Beck handled in the box and Cureton scored from the penalty spot.
