CAMERONMurray’s late strike snatched all three points for Dorchester on a sodden afternoon in Hampshire.
Driving rain and a swirling wind made flowing football difficult and hampered both sides’ attempts to play the game on the ground.
The first half ended with a period of pressure for Basingstoke, culminating in Alhaji Sesay expertly tipping Dan Bayliss’ header over the bar.
The home side broke the deadlock midway through the second half.
