A RUGGED encounter was edged courtesy of a fine solo goal by James Daly on the hour mark and a well-drilled rearguard to protect the lead.
Town started brightly enough, but a left-foot shot on the turn by Elliot Buchanan which shaved the hosts’ woodwork was a taster of dangers to come from the visitors.
After home keeper Joe Wright had held onto Delano Sam-Yorkers’ effort, Ryan Blackman tested Rob Tolfrey in the Ks goal with a low drive.
