NANTWICH Town proved why they are a force to be reckoned with as Dave Cooke’s league leaders overcame the potent attacking force of Basford United.
The visitors came out of the blocks firing, taking the lead after two minutes through Matt Thornhill, who was able to fire past Will Jaaskelainen after Joel Stair was caught napping on the ball.
Nantwich responded excellently to going behind and grabbed their deserved equaliser eight minutes later.
