JOE Malkin’s strike 18 minutes from time was enough to keep alive Nantwich’s hopes of the title.
Nantwich looked the more likely winners with Matlock goalkeeper Ross Grant the busier of the two goalkeeper but fine margins often decide games and this was the case.
