Blinkhorn boosts City’s survival bid

FARSLEY suffered a setback to their title hopes as Lancaster took a big step towards ensuring their place in the Premier Division next season.
The first chance of the game fell to Lancaster’s Matty Blinkhorn after 13 minutes after Glenn Steel had headed a corner back across goal but the striker somehow managed to direct the ball over the crossbar from about a yard out. Adam Clayton had a good chance to put Farsley ahead after 21 minutes but he was unable to direct a powerful header on target from a corner.
