MICKLEOVER Sports were cruelly beaten at the death as visitors Whitby Town returned home with the points.
Mickleover had big chances to get onto the scoreboard in the first half but were denied by the Whitby defence and goalkeeper Jack Norton.
Sports had two new signings in the squad with Javaun Splatt coming into the squad from Derby and Neil Yoladhi joining the club as a free agent.
A huge opportunity for Sports came in the first five minutes with Yoladhi’s chance cleared off the line and then saved by Norton before another effort...
