THREE second-half goals gave Basford United victory over Bamber Bridge at the Sir Tom Finney Stadium after Michael Fowler’s 33rd minute strike had handed Brig a halftime advantage.
Liam Hearn equalised for the visitors early in the second half, before Nathan Watson and Courey Grantham strikes meant Basford took all three points back home to Nottingham.
Both sides had their chances in the first half, with Basford seeing a couple of long-range efforts caught by Brig keeper Lloyd Rigby.
