CRAIG Hobson’s goal condemned Witton to a first home defeat of the season and helped Stalybridge conclude their most productive week of the campaign.
Their captain diverted Harry Freedman’s driven cross into the net from close range early in the second half to become the first visiting player to score at Wincham Park in a Premier Division fixture this season.
