ASHTON took the points from neighbours Buxton thanks to a superior first-half display and two early penalties from ex-Chorley forward Josh Wilson.
The ‘Bucks’ started promisingly and led on four minutes when Diego De Girolamo’s free-kick from 19 yards found its way into the far side netting.
Yet within 15 minutes the visitors were ahead when a defender’s foul was punished from the penalty spot.
