■ NEWCASTLE belied their lowly position to produce an excellent second-half comeback which infl icted a first home League defeat on Cleethorpes for over nine months.
Town dominated the first 45, Scott Vernon deftly fl icking home a superb cross from Sam Topliss and then Oli Donald powering in a header to put them two to the good at the interval.
