MATLOCK boss Paul Phillips was left delighted as he lined up against one of his former clubs, and summed up the result perfectly.
“The right players did everything right in the right areas,” he said.
Ashton will feel aggrieved at the magnitude of their defeat for they contributed to an entertaining game. But they made bad mistakes and this was emphasised in Matlock’s opening two goals.
