RUNCORN Linnets and Clitheroe played out a hard fought draw at the Millbank Stadium.
The experienced visiting side from Lancashire had the lion’s share of possession, but struggled to break down a well-drilled Runcorn defence.
Chances were limited for both sides in the first half, with the best coming for Runcorn when Ryan Brooke’s header drew a superb save from Chris Thompson.
