WORKSOP TOWN put an end to three league games without a win with an impressive victory over Spalding United at Sandy Lane.
Lewis Gibbens opened the scoring in the 35th minute as the debutant glanced home from a whipped Connor Smythe free-kick.
The Tigers then went close on the edge of halftime through Cody Cromack, whose thunderous drive was pushed wide by Michael Duggan.
Worksop began the second half well, doubling their lead after 57 minutes through Gavin Allott, who rifled home from the penalty spot after being thwarted in the area.
